A surprising number of other tracks have existed, many of them lasted only a short time, but all have played a part in the history of Scottish oval racing.

BRIDGE OF DON ( Aberdeen) - Around the Mid 1960's near the old army barracks on the location of the current Park & Ride. This track dates mid 1960's

FETTERCAIRN.  Another track on the A90, this time closer to Dundee. Further details appreciated if anyone has them?

GARLOGIE, Another 1960's track situated on the Echt - Dunecht road near Aberdeen. The track closed following a fatality in 1968/9

INVERNESS had 2 tracks, the latter surviving until the building of the bridge over the River Ness in the early 1970's

MARYWELL located on the A90 just South of Aberdeen. 1986 was the era of this track. This track was run as a promotion and alternated its dates with Crimond to allow an interchange of drivers. 1986 was its only season. The track is now gone, its location marked by an oil storage yeard close to the junction for Aberdeen harbour on the A90.

NEW STEPHENSON  in Ayrshire ran a single meeting on 17th July 1966. Willie Harrison ex Brisca F1 No2 winning the final.

PERSLEY in the Bucksburn area of Aberdeen was active in 1988. A tarred surface but the preparation wasn't good seeing the surface break up. This was going to be sorted but locals complained about the noise. However despite these objections permission was given to hold 6 meetings a year. This wasn't considered enough to meet costs, so the track wasn't to see any more action. It possibly survives derelict today

STONEHAVEN situated on the Dundee - Aberdeen road was the location for this track that saw action in the late 1970's . Upgrading the A90  Dundee- Aberdeen road to dual carriageway saw its closure around 1977/78. On its closure a lot of drivers based here arrived at Crimond.

TURRIF - Another 1960's venue where one or two early Crimond drivers started out.

WICK a track is believed to have existed here, possibly on the former RAF airfield. Any further info on any tracks missed or exact dates appreciated

*KEITH* - A track possibly existed here, confirmation appreciated.
