(Old) Meadowbank Stadium Edinburgh ran its 1st meeting on 31/7/54.

Old Meadowbank was to run 11 meetings between 1954 and 1957

The stadium which was demolished in the late 1960's sat on same the location as the present (New) Meadowbank stadium which was built for the 1972 Commonwealth games.

It remains the only track in Edinburgh ever to house oval racing.
